No, I don't regularly hear voices. Though it happens to all of us, I supposed, doesn't it? [No need to admit it, I totally know.]



So let's see. I've not written since Oct. 22, and even then it's only been surveys, hahaa.

But in the past week, I've had oh so much fun [[*multiple blank blinks*]].
I found out that I cannot register for classes for the Spring until I get my immunizations [Tetanus & Diptheria -- you think I'd know if I had either one, wouldn't you?]. I've never been asked for them prior to going to this Univ., but apparently those two shots "expired" in 2002 -- while I was in high school. Anyone else think it's odd that I've been to two SEPARATE colleges since then, and no one has asked about those immunizations? Yeha...that's what I thought. *eye roll*

Then there was Wednesday.
I have [un]officially lost my house key.
My stepdad and I got home from dropping his car off to get some O2 sensor replaced [anyone who's had to do that, you generally leave the key with the car...his keys had the house key on it]. I found out that i had no clue where MY house key went, so I had to climb in the window, which I am generally okay with, lol. Odd, right?
But after we were both in the house, I had to look around to try and find it, and of course, my first thought is to search my bedroom -- I have a habit of losing stuff there.
Right next to the head of my bed is a somewhat rickety table that my clock and laptop sit on at night. Right above that is a shelf we put up for my cat to jump on.
You can't say you don't expect SOMETHING now, haaha.
So I lean over the head of my bed, looking between it and the table, on the floor, to see if the key is there. It's not, of course, so I lift my head...and ram the left side of my forehead riight into the corner of that shelf.
Fun!
So I have a nice cut there...there's no bleeding, and no need for a bandaid [anymore], but its still obvious. Though...only 2 people have actually noticed it, so...whatev. :grin:


And ya know, today, don't ask why cuz I really don't know, I ate [and I'm not kidding] an ENTIRE chocolate pudding pie by myself. *nodnod* I really wanted that damn comfort food.
And yes, I admit I have a problem.
Oh well.





So, lets see, what else can I mumble about?
Oh yes.

I've made the starting decision: I do not want to teach English anymore. Actually, I do not want to teach at all. It has suddenly hit me that I am purely terrified of standing in front of a classroom of students -- I can't even do it in front of my peers. Never have been, really. It was even hard during HS, so doing it now, in front of the same kind of kids that I seriously hate, it isn't happening. And doing it later, in kids that are probably going to be the same if not worse, yeah...still not happening.
So I'm going to change my major.

The only problem I'm having?
Deciding what to change it to.
I've considered journalism....and theatre studies [not acting]...and that's about it.

But instead of the full positive "You do what makes you happy" response I really want...I'm hearing "But what will you do with that degree?" Granted, I've only informed people about the theatre studies major...but...still.

Eh, whatever.
I'll figure it out soon enough.
